Core functions
Load-bearing body: It replaces the traditional steel coil spring and supports the weight at the rear of the vehicle through the pressure of internal compressed air.
Adjust vehicle height: In coordination with the air supply system and control unit, the ground clearance of the vehicle is adjusted in real time by filling or releasing air to achieve the lifting function.
Providing comfort: Compressed air can offer extremely flexible cushioning, effectively absorbing road vibrations, which is the key to ensuring the luxurious riding experience of Mercedes-Benz.
Maintain level: Regardless of the number of rear passengers or the load of the trunk, the system can automatically adjust the airbag pressure to keep the vehicle body always in a level position, ensuring driving stability and the Angle of the headlight illumination.
Working principle
When it is necessary to lift the vehicle body, the air compressor works, pumping dry air into the airbags through the dryer and valve body, causing them to expand.
When the vehicle body needs to be lowered or the vehicle senses roll, the system will open the exhaust valve to release some of the air in the airbag.
The vehicle level height sensor monitors the vehicle body status in real time and feeds the signal back to the control computer, forming a closed-loop automatic adjustment system.
